For a long time now I have been sharing my homebrew with friends and clients in handmade growlers. I love them. They're ceramic growlers made by the folks at The Portland Growler Company. They are beautiful... but I'm thinking of switching to cans. Cans are lighter, cheaper, they don't break, they get colder faster, single serving, take up less space... you get the idea. So now I'm in a quandary about what SIZE cans to use. The classic 12oz? The 16oz "Tall Boy" or maybe the 32oz "Crowler"? Personally I love the 16oz Tall Boy. It's a pint of beer just like they serve you at a bar. It's the perfect serving. But that's me. I have an active survey right now to see what my friends and clients think... stay tuned!
I had a great batch of my Wea Heavy Scottish Ale this time around. I bottled it and shared it with a bunch of my friends and clients. I'm even sitting on a few bottles so I can enter it into the fair this year. If you like rich and malty this baby is for you. FREEEDOM!
Melanie and I are somehow both perfectly represented in this simple photo.

Halloween 1978. I can't say that Chewbacca looked anything like this but I can say that I loved this costume.
